Meghan Markle is launching a fashion line for a good cause

There is simply no stopping Meghan Markle. Fresh from guest editing the September issue of British Vogue, she is now working on a fashion collection to benefit the charity Smart Works, which helps unemployed and disadvantaged women return to work.

According to royal reporter Omid Scobie, the Duchess has enlisted the help of British high street stores M&S, Jigsaw and John Lewis, as well as her designer friend Misha Nonoo, to launch a capsule collection of workwear.

Omid tweeted, ‘The collection, launching later this year, will sell on a one-for-one basis. “For each item purchased by a customer, one is donated to charity,” Meghan writes in @BritishVogue. “Not only does this allow us to be part of each other’s story, it reminds us we are in it together.’

Meghan is already a patron of the charity, and visited its headquarters earlier this year to share her fashion tips with unemployed women.

According to the charity, since the Duchess joined, they’ve helped over 50% more women than they did the previous year, making it a total of 187 in London.

We’ll update you as soon as we know more, but expect it to sell out fast.
