The three street style trends I’m stealing from Copenhagen Fashion Week

With Copenhagen Fashion Week in full swing, I’m looking to those Scandi streets for a bit of style inspiration, and as always, I’ve found a few trends that I’ll be emulating for the season to come.

Hot pink

On day 1 of the shows, stylist Anna Vitiello posted this picture on Instagram, and it was love at first sight. The past few seasons have seen pastel shades of pink galore, but not so much hot pink. It’s clearly back with a vengeance, and I’m all for it. Anna and fellow fashion influncer Jeannette Madsen prove that there are loads of ways to style the trend too.

Anna wore her oversized Ganni top with mustard trousers and pink The Attico heels, while Jeanette kept things more casual with a white t-shirt, jogging bottoms and slingbacks. Wear as much pink as you dare.

Crop tops

Perhaps one of the most surprising street style trends to come from Copenhagen has been crop tops. Whilst it might seem a little daunting to some, show-goers proved that it’s actually much more wearable than you’d think.

I love the 90s take on the trend below, a tie-back crop top paired with cargo trousers. For a more feminine take on the trend, look to Bettina Looney (below), who wore her printed puff sleeve top with high-waisted beige chinos rolled up at the waist.

Oversized blazers

Sure, oversized blazers are nothing new, but they seem to have gotten bigger and better these past couple days. I’ve seen it worn in a multitude of ways, and these are my two favourite looks. An blue blazer worn over a white t-shirt and tan pleated skirt, with dad sandals as a finishing touch. And a simple masculine suit, so so chic.
